The cards are on the table. It’s time to reveal them. KFC officially announces its partnership with Friz and MAFIA IRL, which begins on March 4th. The chain has become a partner of this year’s edition of the popular show, and thanks to this, fans can expect many exciting surprises. A new menu based on the mysterious taste of umami, co-created by Friz, will be available in all restaurants. Each set and box from the new offer will include a deck of limited-edition MAFIA IRL trading cards – available while supplies last. In addition, seven restaurants across Poland will receive a special, mysterious arrangement. KFC has also planned an event during which selected guests will have the opportunity to meet Friz. This is where the game really gets interesting!
KFC is kicking off the year with one of the most talked-about projects in its history. The chain’s collaboration with Friz and MAFIA IRL is an event that will transport KFC and show fans to a mysterious world full of intrigue… and surprising flavors. The project will feature a completely new menu based on the taste of umami, which will debut in all restaurants in Poland on March 4th. Each set and box will include a deck of collectible MAFIA IRL playing cards. A total of four original sets can be collected, significantly enhancing the gameplay. The cards are available while supplies last. Furthermore, the limited-edition packaging of the new menu items will feature a special QR code directing to a secret voice message from Friz, and in March, you can meet the creator at a special event in Krakow.
A Menu Full of New Features
For the collaboration, the chain has prepared iconic dishes with a mysterious umami sauce that will surely surprise even the most ardent fans of crispy chicken. For the first time in history, KFC will serve a special Zinger with umami-flavored sauce, served on a black bun. The dish was created in close collaboration with Friz. Prepare to discover a fifth flavor that will become your favorite after just one bite!
On March 4th, the new menu will debut in all restaurants:
• MAFIA IRL Burger – the iconic Zinger on a black bun with sweet chili & umami sauce;
• MAFIA IRL Twister – a juicy chicken tenderloin with sweet chili & umami sauce wrapped in a pink tortilla;
• MAFIA IRL Qurrito – crispy chicken with cheese and sweet chili & umami sauce, served in a pink, baked tortilla;
• MAFIA IRL Bubble Drink – a refreshing berry-flavored bubble tea;
• MAFIA IRL Cheezy Snack – black cheese balls with a crispy coating and liquid cheddar inside.
MAFIA IRL Playing Cards
KFC’s collaboration with MAFIA IRL is all about mystery… and fun! That’s why this project couldn’t be complete without cards, allowing those interested to join the game – even in the restaurant! Ordering a set or box from the new menu will give you one deck of limited-edition MAFIA IRL cards. There are a total of four different collections to collect. Completing the entire set will definitely spice up the gameplay and significantly expand it. The chain assures that fans don’t have to worry about duplicate decks. Simply report this to staff, who will replace the duplicate set of cards.
Immersion and a Positive Experience Come First
KFC is committed to building a positive experience and wants guests to fully experience the MAFIA IRL atmosphere. That’s why seven selected restaurants across Poland will receive a completely new design, in keeping with the show’s secret conventions. Visitors will experience elements well-known from MAFIA IRL in person, and thanks to the playing cards included in the sets and boxes, they will also be able to play a cozy game in the restaurants. The redesigned locations will be open to guests from March 10th. The chain has also prepared a surprise for the biggest MAFIA IRL fans and is organizing a special meet-and-greet event featuring Friz. Details will be announced in the coming days.
