BiuStars – Mammography

Take a moment and take care of what is most valuable – your health and natural beauty. If you are between 45 and 74 years old, we invite you to participate in free mammography examinations as part of the nationwide BiuStars campaign!

On Friday, May 30th, mammography examinations will be available in a professional mammobus in front of our Shopping Centre from 9:00 to 15:00.

All women between the ages of 45 and 74 can take advantage of free mammography examinations.

To take advantage of the examination, you must register for it by calling (42) 254 64 17. You must have your PESEL number ready for registration.

When reporting for the examination, you must bring your ID card and the results of a previous breast examination, if one has been performed. It is worth remembering that mammography does not require any additional preparation. The examination takes less than fifteen minutes and will be performed by radiologists from the Medica Medical Centre.

The images will be sent to the clinic, where a specialist will prepare a description. The patient will receive information about the result via text message or email. If a worrying change is detected, the patient will receive a description by registered mail, a referral for further tests and advice on what steps to take to start treatment.

Mammography is an effective method of early detection of breast cancer. The earlier the disease is diagnosed, the greater the chances of full recovery. Therefore, it is not worth delaying this examination and taking advantage of the free opportunity as part of “BiuStars – Mammography” campaign!
